Chicken Tetrazzini
This recipe comes to us from Betty Dixon by way of Della. It is sure to bring back memories.
Ingredients
2 tbsp onion, chopped
1 tbsp butter or margarine
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup water
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup sherry
2 cups thin noodles, cooked
2 cups diced cooked turkey (or cooked chicken or ham)
Instructions
In a saucepan, saute onions in butter. Blend in soup, water, and cheese and cook until cheese melts, stirring occasionally. Add sherry, the cooked noodles, and the cooked meat. Heat or warm in casserole in oven.
