Noodles Ned

This is the perfect accompaniment to Steak Ned. It has also stood the test of time, originating in chapel Hill in 1976. In Portland in more recent years, Ned has been substituting low fat yogurt for the sour cream. Barbara has been eating the dish in blissful ignorance of the cottage cheese.

Ingredients

5 oz. cooked noodles 8 to l2 oz. sour cream (or yogurt) 8 oz. cottage cheese 3 cloves of garlic 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce sprinkle of grated cheese

Instructions

Cook noodles. Mix in next four ingredients. Place in casserole and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
