Rum or Bourbon Balls

Make these first so you can munch on them as you make the others.

Ingredients

30 vanilla wafers 2 tbsp cocoa 1 cup chopped nuts 2 tsp Karo syrup, dark 2 tbsp rum or bourbon, more or less, to taste

Instructions

Grind wafers and nuts with food chopper and fine blade. Cream ingredients for shaping balls. Roll lightly in a few extra crumbs, then in powdered sugar. NOTES Orange rind 1/2 tsp anise seed Contreau semi-sweet chocolate cocoanut vaude mint
